2014 Salford Business Awards finalists announced

Software outsourcing specialist Bright Future; Lanes Group, the largest independent supplier of specialist underground pipeline and utility services in the UK; and Carbon Digital, a one-stop studio, specialising in CGI, visual effects and animation, are among the finalists for the 2014 Salford Business Awards.

Online lighting retailer LSE Retail Group is shortlisted for the Entrepreneur Award and Business of the Year alongside Oakwood Engineering, CSG Lanstar and JMC IT.

The Awards, organised by the University of Salford, The Business Group Salford and Salford City Council, are now in their seventh year and will be hosted by Bafta award-winning journalist Elaine Wilcox at Salford City Stadium on 5th June. Mike Bushell, BBC Breakfast sports presenter, will entertain guests with an after-dinner speech.
